Biography

Georgia J. Lobban, a graduate of the Hotel Management program at George
Brown College in Toronto, Canada, is the founder and managing principal of Village Consultants. She boasts over 11 years experience in the hospitality industry, mostly, in a sales and marketing capacity. Her roles included property level sales management, global sales management and she directed the regional sales effort of a national sales team in the Pacific Northwestern region. She represented national and international brands including: InterContinental Hotel, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Hilton Garden Inn, The Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites and La Quinta. Georgia has worked in key markets and surrounding areas in Toronto, Atlanta, San Francisco, and Manila.

In 2004 she was recognized by IHG’s Global Sales team as a “Partner In Excellence”
a tribute to her successful collaborations to bring about mutually beneficial results.
In 2005, the Crowne Plaza Southeast Region presented her the “Eagle Award” for her innate ability to cultivate lucrative business relationships. Georgia is a strategist. A high achiever and results oriented enthusiast who consistently exceeds the expectations of her clients. Georgia’s dedication, passion, professionalism, and diligence, has earned her a distinguished reputation within the industry.

Her special areas of interest and expertise are in project management - process and program implementation; strategic sales and account management. She also, is devoted to paving the way for the next generation of hotel sales personnel through tailor-made training programs.
